A church that welcomes animals
The Church of Animal Rights Sanctuary (+TCOARS) is helping low income families keep their pets at home through their difficult times. The church is offering to help the families with their pets vet care needs, food and any other items their animals may need to stay in the home.
The recession has hit some families harder than others and animal shelters have seen a higher intake rate. Most families do not want to give up a pet in hard times, but when faced with feeding the children or the pets, the pets will lose out and find themselves in a shelter looking for a new home if they are lucky.
TCOARS has come up with a way to keep the pets in their home by providing the necessities the family will need to provide their animal with the basic care it will need until the family can get back on their feet.
The church was registered this year in the state of Kansas and already has four families that they are helping. This church not only wants to save the people, they want to save the animals that the people count on everyday.
